SSAW STEEL PIPE: SSAW steel pipe is short for spiral submerged arc welded steel pipe, produced using a double-sided submerged arc welding method. These pipes are formed from hot-rolled coils or narrower sheets, which significantly optimizes production costs.
The Process: Also known as HSAW pipe, the welding line is shaped like a helix. The manufacturing process involves rolling the steel strip at an angle to the pipe center, ensuring the welding seam follows a spiral line. This allows for large diameter production suitable for heavy-duty transmission.
Widely used in Oil and Gas Pipelines, Water Transmission, Liquid Transportation, Building Construction, Steel Structure Construction, Offshore / Onshore Construction, Piling Works, Electricity, and Heating Power systems.

1. Flexible Production: Uses steel strips of the same width to produce pipes of various diameters.
2. Higher Stress Resistance: Spiral welds withstand 75% to 90% of the stress compared to straight seams, allowing for thinner walls under the same pressure.
3. High Precision: General diameter tolerance within 0.12%, with superior ellipticity control.
