The internal and external epoxy resin coated steel pipe is a composite pipe material formed by uniformly coating molten epoxy resin powder on the inner and outer walls. It combines the structural strength of steel with the superior anti-corrosion performance of epoxy coatings, achieving integrated protection against internal medium corrosion and external environmental impact.
Dual Protection: The outer wall resists chemical and electrochemical corrosion in soil, atmosphere, and acidic/alkaline environments. The dense epoxy coating forms an inert barrier, isolating the steel from corrosive elements. Plastic-coated fittings (elbows, tees, flanges) ensure seamless connection and system continuity.
Specialized Applications: For natural gas, multi-layer systems enhance safety and durability. Fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) provides strong adhesion and resistance to cathodic stripping. For fire protection, red epoxy-coated pipes provide long-term reliability with food-grade internal coatings that prevent rusting and ensure unobstructed water flow.
