Manufacture Process
  • The Steel shall be killed.
  • T11 seamless alloy tubes are available in hot-finished or cold-finished options.
  • Heat Treatment: Ferritic alloy and stainless steels are reheated in accordance with standards, independent of hot forming heat.
  • Mill test certificates are issued according to EN10204.3.
  • All tubes comply with ASTM A213 / A213M specifications.
Inspection & Testing
  • Flattening Test: Conducted on specimens from each end of one finished tube per lot.
  • Flaring Test: Conducted on specimens from each end of one finished tube per lot.
  • Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric Test: Each tube undergoes either test at the manufacturer's option.
Packing and Marking

Packed in bundles or plywood boxes wrapped in plastic, suitably protected for sea-worthy delivery. Marking Includes: Standard, grade, size, heat no., lot no., and whether the tube is hot-finished or cold-finished.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What are the primary applications for SA213 T11 tubes?

A1: These tubes are primarily used for boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers due to their excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties.

Q2: What is the difference between hot-finished and cold-finished tubes?

A2: Hot-finished tubes are processed at high temperatures, while cold-finished tubes are processed at room temperature for better dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Q3: How is the quality of the T11 alloy tubes ensured?

A3: Every tube undergoes flattening, flaring, and either hydrostatic or nondestructive electric testing to ensure structural integrity and compliance.

Q4: Are the tubes supplied with certification?

A4: Yes, all tubes are supplied with Mill Test Certificates issued according to EN10204.3 standards.

Q5: What sizes are available for T11 tubing?

A5: We offer sizes ranging from 1/8 inch [3.2 mm] to 5 inch [127 mm] in outside diameter, with wall thicknesses up to 0.500 inch [12.7 mm].

Q6: What surface treatments are available?

A6: Standard options include Black coating, Varnish coating, 3LPE, and PE coating for corrosion protection.
