Product Description
Welded Carbon Steel Pipe
Welded Carbon Steel Pipe is a type of steel pipe made primarily from low carbon steel. It is manufactured by welding rolled steel coils or plates, commonly using methods like ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) or SAW (Submerged Arc Welding). These pipes are widely used in various industries, including oil and gas, water transportation, construction, and structural applications due to their high pressure and temperature resistance. They comply with international standards such as ASTM A53, ASTM A106, API 5L, and EN 10219.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the common welding methods for your carbon steel pipes?
We primarily use Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) depending on the pipe type and application requirements.
What surface treatments do you offer for anti-rust protection?
We provide several options including hot-dip galvanizing, painting, 3PE coating, and FBE coating to ensure long-term durability.
How are the pipes packed for international sea freight?
Pipes under 219mm OD are packed in hexagonal seaworthy bundles with steel strips and nylon slings. Larger pipes are typically shipped in bulk.
What is the maximum length of pipe that can fit into a 40GP container?
For a 40GP container, the maximum pipe length is 11,800mm, with a maximum loading capacity of approximately 25 tons.
Which international standards do your steel pipes comply with?
Our products meet several global standards, including ASTM A53, ASTM A106, API 5L, and EN 10219.
What are the main applications for these galvanized pipes?
They are widely used in construction, decoration, greenhouse structures, water transportation, and oil and gas industries.
